As a culmination of a non-fiction thematic unit, students will create a mini-magazine on a topic of their choice. Using both prior knowledge and web-based research, students will design the magazine to cover various angles on the chosen topic. Websites will be included as student resources for items such as magazine layout, feature article format, and chart generators to display survey results or related information.
